new beach!

My Peeps Mr. John and Hannah took me for a Ride! it was awesome. Mr. John has this weird window in the top of the Ride, I can stick my nose out above and get extra sniffs!After the ride they left me in the car, which was okay because the windows were down and I got to bark at ALL the people passing by.When my Peeps came back, they took me to a new Beach. I’d never been there before and WOW, there were all kinds of new smells and big sticks! Mr. John threw lots of sticks for me; it was lots of fun. I had to go into the water to rinse the sand off though, otherwise it gets in my mouth and makes me sick.When we got back, Hannah made me take a bath. I don’t like getting wet unless I’m in the ocean, but they rubbed me all over so I guess it wasn’t so bad…

So, Mom and Dad left. They took Nimbus with them… I was kinda upset. Cat gets to go and I have to stay?? Except… I have the beach and the sand and the sun and the water… whereas Cat got shoved in a bag and he didn’t seem very happy about it. I was worried when Mom and Dad took Nimbus away, but Mr. John stayed with me and threw the stick, so it wasn’t so bad.Then my bested peep, Hannah, came back and I got to go in a ride with Mr. John and Hannah. He put the window ALL the way down and let me sniff as much as I wanted, it was awesome! They took me to a place that smelled like Hannah, I had been there before but this time i got food! except that there are two cats there… and just like Nimbus, they are allowed on the bed and I’m not. rotten Cats.

We hiked a Slot Canyon today

This afternoon we went on a hike nearby our house.

The desert has lots of new smells.

We walked down into a gully to see what was there.

I had to jump sometimes. I like to jump!

We followed the canyon for a while until…

Whoa!!! I can’t fit throught there!

So we looped back around and found another way in from the other end.

It got narrow too but i still could make it.

Well, I almost fit…

Canyon hiking sure is fun.

But its supper time and I am a hungry dog!! Lets Go Home!

OH BOY!!! A new place to explore!

When my peeps got home today, we jumped into the Jeep (well, I jumped, they kind of hike themselves up) and we went for a ride.

It was a short ride. We got out at this weird place where there were no trees or hardly anything else.

They seemed to be looking for something so I tagged along.

We found this thing. They called it a rattle snake and told me stay away from it. I wasn’t interested anyways.

I had to climb all sorts of hills just to keep an eye on my peeps.

They did not stay together so I had to shuttle back and forth to keep them safe.

It was fun but I still don’t know what they were looking for…

We went for a ride in the Jeep today

This is our new Jeep. I like it because the window opens for me to get the smells.

I have a new seat cover that keeps me from falling on the floor when my peeps stop too fast.

When we left to work today, we didn’t stop. We stayed in the car ALL DAY??!! They only stopped to let me out to pee a few times and for some lunch. When we did stop we were somewhere I have never seen before.

We went into this building with lots of room.

There are people in the other rooms. I bark at them to let them know I am here.

Well, I have my bed, sme of my toys and my peeps so I guess it will be OK.

Explorer Dog!

I led Ted through the mangrove swamp to the water windmill again.

It has been very dry so all of the water is gone.

I explored it inside and out.

It was fun!

Ted was kayaking around the Bay - he was going without me! So I swam along trying to show him I wanted to get in the kayak! Finally he got the picture and came around and helped me to get into the boat! We had a great time!!!

Beach Walks are The BEST!

Sunday afternoon my people and I went on a nice long beach walk.

Beachwalks are so much fun.

I find sticks everywhere and they throw them in the water for me.

The waves are bigger here so its hard work!

But its my job and I do it no matter what!

This is as far as we can go so I help my Mom get back safely.

I got to go to Cane Bay!!

I got to got to Cane Bay today. It must be some sort of human holiday because there were LOTS of people and other dogs. Mom made me wear my jacket but I don’t think I need it.

Mom Brought along a fresh ball for me to fetch.

This is what Cane Bay beach looks like. It is a nice sandy beach with good sniffs, dogs and people.

Mom threw the ball alot so I had to chase it . Swimming is fun but I swallowed alot of seawater today.

Whew… Finally I get to dry off and take a break.

Ahh… Life is good.
